Get ready for spring!
Spring is nearly here, is it time to unwind your body? Its been a cold winter in Melbourne. In winter we hunch from the cold, raising our shoulders up towards our ears. We tend to slouch & contract. This posture leads to neck and back pain, headaches and sometimes tingling in our hands and fingers. Its time to iron out all the winter creases! Many clients, if not all, have tight and sore necks. It tends to be our mid to upper back, the thoracic spine that gets the stiffest. This reduces blood flow to the head and brain, causing a myriad of problems.
Yoga can help.
I recommend to all my clients the benefits of yoga. One class a week is enough in our busy lives to keep our body from getting too stiff. Yoga helps unwind the hunched over computer posture. One class of yoga per week enhances a CranioSacral Therapy session. They tend to work to gather well.
Nutritional cleansing can help.
As I’ve mentioned to many of my clients, I started nutritional cleansing 18 months ago. Since then my health and energy levels have improved. Many of my clients have embraced nutritional cleansing in their health routine. Contact me at [email protected] if you would like to know more.
Want more energy?
Winter can make us tired as well as stiff. The two are related of course. A stiff body is a tired body. One of the best ways of freeing up energy in the body is to release the occipital base. The occipital base is where the head meets the skull. In my treatments each client will experience an occipital base release. At first it may feel uncomfortable, as most people are very tight. Then as the joint releases, it can feel blissful! Once this joint is released, energy and blood can flow to the head. This can feel like the brain fog is clearing!
