Over the last 15 years I have treated many people with fibromyalgia. Often these clients have been diagnosed as having chronic fatigue syndrome, also. Recently a young, 25 y.o. woman came to see me, complaining of jaw pain and widespread body pain. She had just been diagnosed as having fibromyalgia. She had been having weekly physiotherapy treatment for back pain and jaw pain. As with my other fibromyalgia clients, I assessed her and decided to treat her central nervous system first. Using Craniosacral therapy, I treated her whole body and central nervous system and waited to see the results. After the first treatment she reported a 10% reduction in back pain and jaw pain.
I am continuing to work with her, educate her re exercises, sleep hygiene and nutritional choices. Each time she returns for treatment she reports a decrease in overall pain. Her jaw pain is unremarkable as her body alignment improves with each treatment.
The best results for fibromyalgia occur when sleep hygiene, nutrition, exercise and lifestyle choices are all taken into consideration.
